Atlantic Group realized the importance of research and development in the pharmaceutical business. Therefore, in 1992, the group cooperated with a Chinese Professor in initiating clinical trials involving the breakthrough anti-malarial products of Artesunate and Artemether. As a result of this successful project, Atlantic Laboratories registered these two products in both Thailand and Myanmar.
