  Mr. Somyos Vanaswas and Mrs. Kanda Vanaswas established Atlantic Trading Company Limited with the purpose of importing and distributing pharmaceutical products.

• 1962
  

  With the guidance and support of Dr. Pradit Hutangkuta, Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty at Mahidol University, and Dr. Chumsai Hasdin, Mr. and Mrs. Vanaswas established Atlantic Laboratories Corp., Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand. This pharmaceutical factory served as a trailblazer in enhancing the credibility of the industry. Over time, Atlantic Laboratories Corp., Ltd. has gained widespread acceptance among both government and private clients, owing to its steadfast commitment to maintaining a high international standard of production.

• 1967
  

  Building on the success of the initial two companies within the group, management recognized the potential for expansion both domestically and internationally. The group's first affiliated company commenced operations in Hong Kong, marking a significant milestone for Atlantic Group. This move solidified Atlantic Group's position as the first Thai pharmaceutical manufacturer to export its products to a foreign market.

• 1980
  

  In parallel with its growth trajectory, Atlantic Group established another affiliated company in Malaysia, eventually evolving into the site of another factory. Simultaneously, the group embarked on exporting its products to China, leveraging the opportunities presented by the country's burgeoning market. Additionally, Atlantic Group founded its Singaporean affiliated company during the same year, further solidifying its regional presence and expanding its reach across Southeast Asia.

  Atlantic Group established its inaugural company in China. Presently, China accommodates four Atlantic Group offices located in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hainan.

  Atlantic Group is led by its Managing Director Mr. Kulavuth Vanaswas and Deputy Managing Director Mr. Busarin Vanaswas.

In 1967, Atlantic Laboratories was the first company in Thailand to export pharmaceutical products to other countries.
